The director Ekin Koca, winner of the post-graduate grant in partnership with La Poudrière, settled in Ciclic Animation for his project Le Corbeau et les mulots, a children’s tale to talk about rejection.
After studying at EMCA (École des Métiers du Cinéma d'Animation), Ekin Koca joined the school of la Poudrière and graduated in 2021 where he directed L'Immoral, his graduation film.
Le Corbeau et les Mulots is his first professional project. Touched by the themes of xenophobia and exclusion, The tale talk about the difficulty of integrating while facing prejudices and fear of the unknown.
This project has received a writing grant by Ciclic Centre-Val de Loire and a residence programme financed by Ciclic Centre-Val de Loire in partnership with La Poudrière. Director, Ekin Koca, will be in residence from October 3rd to 28th.

Once upon a time there was a hungry Raven in the land of the filed mice. Excluded for his difference, the Raven uses all means to survive and ends up collaborating with the Ogress. The latter gave him lodging and food in exchange for his service: he had to steal the precious goods of the mice.
